I love technology because it means guaranteed visibility so you can get seen and get paid!
Your cell phone, tablet, iPad, laptop and desktop offer simple ways for guaranteed visibility. You can even connect your devices to your television, too. Yep, it’s possible! As an entrepreneur, technology must become one of your business besties.
Here’s what I mean…
-
Comment on blog posts.
It’s not enough to just read a great post. When you comment, you benefit from all of the great traffic created by the website owner. Even if it’s an “atta girl/boy” or a simple expression of gratitude, commenting on blog posts is well worth it after all, your blog is the hub/focal point for all of your social media. The truth is: If you’re taking the time to read the blog post, why not make it count, right?
Your Gravatar and website are posted for all the world to see when you leave a comment on a blog post.
According to the Gravatar website, “Your Gravatar is an image that follows you from site to site appearing beside your name when you do things like comment or post on a blog. Avatars help identify your posts on blogs and web forums, so why not on any site?”
I’ve learned to love commenting on blog posts. When I do, I’m cultivating relationships with like-minded entrepreneurs. That’s guaranteed visibility and it is SO simple!!

Be a guest on a podcast or internet radio show.
Podcasts are also referred to as internet or web radio shows. Podcasts work well because you’re able to syndicate one audio across multiple streaming services like iTunes, Stitcher, or Spreaker — to name a few.

Bonus Tip: Your guest appearance has a larger impact when the podcast audience matches your ideal client. It ensures your interview has relevance. Why? It’s because you’re sharing your subject matter expertise with a potentially new ideal client.
Over the past 15 years, I’ve been fortunate to serve as a guest on Blog Talk Radio. You can be easily found by the search engines using this internet radio platform. It’s a simple way to generate marketplace credibility and influence.
Here are examples of my guest interviews:
Accelerate: Sales. Profits. Growth with Andy Paul (Stitcher/iTunes)
The Bacon Podcast with Brian Basilico (Spreaker)
Significant Results Radio with Franne McNeal (Blog Talk Radio) -
Use video marketing and live streaming.
According to Forbes contributing writer, Brian Solis, “Digital influence has never been more profound.” With just a smart phone, you go from being an untrained video marketer to a masterful camera person who is able to produce highly creative videos. You can share one video with remarkable relevance and public appeal that goes viral across social media, resulting in thousands and millions of views. That’s guaranteed visibility!
Coaches, speakers, trainers and consultants who invest in a bit more sophisticated video recording equipment can stream high quality, live events with equally successful reach. One such transformation expert, Trevor Otts, is a master at streaming live events that generate massive visibility. Trevor is an asset in this transformation space because of his approach to innovation. He and his team are always looking at new ways to support other business owners via automation, visibility and influence. -
Make an offer.
Yep, use technology to sell something! As a business owner, you’re sharing content across social media every single day. And, at some point, you must make an offer or do something to make a sale.I know that may seems scary and selling can feel that way sometimes. It’s because when you make an offer — any kind of offer — you’re opening yourself up to rejection. Nobody wants to be rejected. That’s a mindset issue and my simple suggestion is to remember that no moves you closer to yes.
What I know for sure is that your ideal clients are waiting on you to show up with the best solution to their most, pressing problem. When you fail to make an offer, it means you’re withholding your expertise and you’re doing them a disservice. Point blank. Period.
Listen, if you don’t make an offer, you’re missing out on the opportunity to get new clients. Remember, new business leads to profitability. #Truth
Sound off in the comments so you can get seen, get known and get paid. That’s what guaranteed visibility is all about!!
