With a life-long affinity for written and verbal communication, JeNae Clark uses her passion and gifts daily to provide information, guidance, perspective and hope. She is the founder and Chief Content Heroine for Content That Matters, a content strategy and development firm that “rescues geniuses from the ideas and expertise in their heads and helps them create content they can market and sell.” In this role, JeNae has the honor of helping best-selling authors, brilliant entrepreneurs and established experts translate their power to the page in the form of online programs, sales copy, email campaigns and social media content. Prior to establishing Content That Matters, JeNae started a learning and development consultancy, The JMC Firm, which serves corporate clients and provides robust training and competency solutions. Through her work with the JMC Firm, JeNae has had the honor of supporting executives from notable companies such as ConocoPhillips, Franklin-Templeton Investments, and Accenture Federal Services with their leading-edge learning and development needs.
Previously, JeNae taught high school for six years. As a single mother of two, and as a woman gifted with talents exceeding the classroom, she knew she could not teach forever and live the most fulfilled life. In 2011, she quit her teaching job to pursue a career in corporate training, and by 2013 she started The JMC Firm and secured several corporate contracts.
JeNae is driven by her belief that anything is possible and by her passion for sharing her gifts with the world. Her approach to content strategy and creation hinges on the premise that your gift is not for you—it’s for the people who need you. This is the foundation for her work with various geniuses as she partners with them to share their gifts with the world.
Her love for people is displayed through her involvement and leadership in various nonprofits and community organizations. She is a Leadership Houston alum, and has volunteered her time and talents for multiple organizations throughout the greater Houston area and beyond. She is a mentor and advisor for several up and coming entrepreneurs and shares her experiences and insights on pushing past fear and fully embracing your gifts and calling.
